Am I liberal or Just Well-Educated?

I was shopping at Trader Joe's the other day when I noticed this bumper sticker. I thought it was funny because that is exactly the point I was trying to make in my Correlation Doesn't Equal Causation post.

Somebody should make a bumper sticker "Am I a fundamentalist radical or just poor, uneducated, and oppressed with no hope for decent future in life."

The fact that many atheists miss this simple point leads me to believe that on some level they don't want to understand it. That they are in denial. That they don't want to face the reality of what is causing global conflict. It is not religion but imperialistic capitalism, which has its foundation in metaphysical materialism, the idea that there is nothing but matter.

Metaphysical materialism leads to materialism.

Materialism leads to greed and ultimately violence.
